Maximum speed ever recorded for a shuttlecock was 201 mph, so there aren't too many of them flying about, they are not that heavy so the most you are likely to get is a decent bruise.|||I would imagine if you were stationary then it would almost definetley enter you
Baz|||UHHHH! Gasp!|||i think getting hit in the c**k but a shuttle would hurt more|||it would stink a little because the mass weight of the shuttlecock is not that much and the stomach having give to a degree in it.
at the point of impact the shuttlecock would decrees in speed very quickly therefore no great pain would be felt other then short stink.
regards x kitti x|||Naaaaaaaah...Strong as a lion ...me|||YES!!!!|||well just look at what happened to me .!!! ( my eyes still hurt )|||If by 'by' you mean 'next to' then it would depend what had hit me in the stomach and how hard. The shuttlecock, of course, would just fly by next to me.
I think that a shuttlecock that hit me at 200mph would cause pain and a bit of bruising.|||Of course it would.
Mum was hit in the eye by a shuttlecock and had to lie as still as possible for the following week, so that her retina did not detach. It also caused her to have a catarct. So all in all, it would hurt, and if it can do that to an eye, could possibly cause problems other than bruising if one hit you in the stomach..|||Force = Mass x Speed doesn't it? I imagine it would bloody hurt.|||Nope. You'll be in too much shock :) I'm sure you can find a volunteer to try it out for you lol.... xx|||i would think so!|||its tiny and i doubt you could get a shuttlecock up to that kind of speed due to the drag on the feathers
i would imagine it to be a little uncomfortable but i doubt its a trip to the doctors jobbie!|||i would say yes anything coming at you at 200mph is gonna hurt. well maybe not a feather|||depends on whether you had good strong stomach muscles|||Unless you were traveling backwards at about 100 mph then of course it would bloody hurt !.
