Difference between rubber and cork shuttlecocks?

Which are better why do people play with cork ones more|||http://www.is-onfire.org/?ref=4198|||The official ones are cork wrapped with systhetic leather. Alternative playable ones are plastic with plastic "feather", it's playable but flies differently. The rubber kinds are junk and flies like a bullet.|||Rubber ones weigh more - Allowing more powerful shots and for the shuttle to go further.


Cork ones go slower, and not as far, so are cheaper and better for beginners.
